Transitway Identity

City of Ottawa | In Canada’s capital, public transportation is managed by OC Transpo. Ottawa was gearing up for the grand-opening of a major addition to the rapid transit route – called the Transitway – which now linked the west, east and south areas of the city. The expanded service was something worthy of a full advertising campaign to promote the virtues of taking the bus. Smith Advertising and Design was commissioned to create a new identifier for the Transitway, which we would then apply to all campaign material, signage and route maps. We included a tagline ‘The Way To Go’ for use during the launch campaign.
