Canadian Home Builders’ Association | An information brochure for the ‘Get It In Writing’ program, telling consumers about the advantages of getting construction and renovation contracts in writing (and the dangers of failing to do so). The text was prepared by the client and supplied to Smith. Smith developed a friendly design to encourage people to read the information inside. We sourced stock photos to illustrate the construction theme. Due to varying provincial laws regarding contracts, it was necessary to produce different versions of the brochure. The brochure shown here is for the province of British Columbia. Smith managed the printing process including press checks for quality assurance. The ‘Get It In Writing’ program logo was also designed by Smith.
