Nat Smith Identity
Natalie Smith Freelance Writer | A logo designed for a young writer in Toronto (who just happens to be our art director’s daughter). Natalie – who goes by Nat – isn’t crazy about how common her last name is. During our initial strategy discussions with her, it was decided to create an identity that put the focus on her first name. A stylized “N” that morphed into a pen tip was created and paired with clean typography that emphasized her first name rather than her surname. The new logo was applied to a business card, her website, and marketing material.
